Tu B'Av (Hebrew: ט"ו באב, the fifteenth of the month Av) is a minor Jewish holiday. In modern-day Israel, it is celebrated as a holiday of love (Hebrew: חג האהבה‎‎, Hag HaAhava), similar to Valentine's Day.^[1] It has been said to be a "great day for weddings".

Historical significance[edit]

According to the Mishna, Tu B'Av was a joyous holiday in the days of the Temple in Jerusalem, marking the beginning of the grape harvest. Yom Kippur marked the end of the grape harvest. On both dates, the unmarried girls of Jerusalem dressed in white garments, and went out to dance in the vineyards (Babylonian Talmud, tractate Ta'anit 30b-31a).^[2]That same section in the Talmud states that there were no holy days as happy for the Jews as Tu B'Av and Yom Kippur.^[3] The holiday celebrated the wood-offering brought in the Temple (see Nehemiah 13:31). Josephus refers to it as the Feast of Xylophory ("Wood-bearing").^[4]

Various reasons for celebrating on Tu B'Av are cited by the Talmud and Talmudic commentators:^[5][6]

• While the Jews wandered in the desert for forty years, female orphans without brothers could only marry within their tribe, to prevent their father's inherited land in the Land of Israel from passing on to other tribes. On the fifteenth of Av of the fortieth year, this ban was lifted. (See Daughters of Zelophehad.)
• That same year, the last of the generation of the sin of the spies, which had been forbidden to enter the Promised Land, found that they were not destined to die. For forty years, every Tisha B'av night, the Jews made graves for themselves in which they slept on Tisha B'Av; every year a proportion of them died. In the 40th year, the fifteen thousand who had remained from the first generation went to sleep in the graves and woke up the next day to their surprise. Thinking they made a mistake with the date, they did this until they reached Tu B'Av and saw a full moon. Only then did they know they were allowed to live.
• The Tribe of Benjamin was allowed to intermarry with the other tribes after the incident of the Concubine of Gibeah (see Judgeschapters 19–21).
• Cutting of the wood for the main altar in the Temple was completed for the year.
• King Hoshea of the northern kingdom removed the sentries on the road leading to Jerusalem, allowing the ten tribes to once again have access to the Temple.
• The nights, traditionally the ideal time for Torah study, are lengthened again after the summer solstice, permitting more study.
• The Roman occupiers permitted burial of the victims of the massacre at Bethar during the Bar Kochba rebellion. Miraculously, the bodies had not decomposed, despite exposure to the elements for over a year.

কিরণ প্রতিদিনের ন্যায় আজও মর্নিং ওয়ার্ক এ বের হয়।  তাদের বাড়ি হতে নদীর এপার অপার ও বয়েস হোস্টেল এবং রেল লাইন এর গেট পার হয়ে সবুজ দিগন্তর ছওয়া।  সে পথে যেতে যেতে 
ঠিক রেল লাইন এর ওপরে একটি বেশ দামী দম দেওয়া ঘড়ি দেখতে পায়।  কোতুহল বসত সে ঘড়ি টি হাতে নেই এবং নাড়াচাড়া করতে ঘড়ি ঠিক ১২ তা সময় গতকালের ডেট অনুযায়ী 
বন্ধ দেখে।  সে খেদুক্তি করে মরা ঘড়ির টাইম বা কি আর দম ফুরালে সে তো মরা ,কিন্তু অর্চার্য কেও ইটা কে মারতে বা গুড়িয়ে দিতে চায়। 
যাই হোক ঘড়ি টি সে পকেটে নেই ও মর্নিং ওয়ার্কার উদেশ্যে চলে যাই।  এই মহাট এ সকালে বেশ ভীর  জমে ,সে তার বাবার সংগে ক্লাস ভি অবদি আসতো , এখন সে বেশ স্বাবলম্বী। 
 আকস্মিক নদীর অপার হতে ছেলেদের উন্মত্তা তার নজর কারে। তারা  একটা ভারী কিছু তুলতে  উন্মত দূর নদীর পার হতে যত টুকু বোঝা যায়।  সে বাড়ি ফিরে ব্রেকফাস্ট করতে করতে মা এর  কাছে ঘড়িটির ব্যাপারে বলে।  ঘড়িটি পকেট হতে তুলে সে তার মা এর হাতে দেয়। 
তার মা ঘড়িটি দেখতে দেখতে বলে তুই ইটা ভালো করিস নি।  ব্রেকফাস্ট শেরে সে বন্ধুদের আড্ডায় জমে সেই ঘড়িটির ব্যাপারে বলতে যাবে এমন সময় তার এক বন্ধু সোহাম বলে 
কাল রাতের হোস্টেলের ঘটনা শুনেসিস ? কাল রাতে হোস্টেলে একটি ২৫ বতছর এর ছেলে হোস্টলের বৈঠক খানায় গলায় ফাস দিয়ে মারা যায়।  সেখানে একটি টেবিল ও দড়ি 
ও  এবং সকালে নদীর পার হতে তার মৃত দেহ উদ্ধার  করে।  কিরণ বলে আজ্জ সকালে সে তার কিছু তা আভাস পায় সে যখন মর্নিং ওয়ার্ক করতে যায়।  সঅম বলে চলে কলেজে র HOD MAM এর একটি ঘড়ি গত কেকদিন ধরে পাওয়া যাছিল না।  কে বা করা কেন জানে ঘড়ি টি চুরি করে বিষয় আশয় কিছু বোঝা যাছে না অবশ্য তার ব্যাগ হতে মোটা টাকা চুরি যাই নি 
,সে দিন সে ব্যাঙ্ক হতে সাল্লারী জমা করে তার বাগে।  
কিরণ মনে মনে বলে মেন হুন না অথবা ফরদিন  ফ্লুএ। 
তার এক বন্ধু বলে মানুষের মনে কত না তার যুক্ত বর্তমান crime world এর সাথে 
তা এত সহজে সে কেন শহীদ হলো ? 
আর এক বন্ধু বলে সর্ট সার্কিট। 
নিজকে উধার করা ভগবান ক খুঁজে পাওয়া জ কোনো কাজের মধ্যে দিয়ে এটি বর্তমান 
world এর প্রমিস  জাস্ট নাথিং। 
কিরণের সন্ধে টা ঝিম ঝিম করতে থাকে।  তার  সপ্ন  হতে  থাকে সে বেশ বিটা এম্মিসিওন হছে এমন কেমিস্ট্রি অফ ক্লাস এ বসে আছে আকস্মিক ফানেল বসত করে।  সে ঘুম হতে জেগে ওঠে এ কোন হাই ক্লাস বসে আছে সে এবং তার কাজের অসফলতা ঠিক কি বোঝাতে চাইছে। 
সে ভাবতে থাকে কিছু কি অপূর্ণ ভয় সে পুরুন করতে চলছে তার অবচতন চেতনা হত চিরদিনের মত না কি সে ও শত সার্কিট। 
সে মনে মনে বলে the বিউটি অফ failure . যাই হোক তাকে তার ফেইসবুক এর প্রেমিকার 
সাথে দেখা করতে হবে এমন কন ব্যবার নেই ৫ বছৰ এর আগে।  আবার ভাবে সেই বয়স্ক প্রেমিকটা হয়ত বা তাকে ক্রমশ দুর্বল করে দিতে চায় ।  
এর মধে তার মোবাইল এ রিং।  সেই মেএটা  আজ্জ সততি তার কাছে বেশ মত অঙ্কের টাকা দাবি করছে তার চত ভাই এর চোখ এ অসুস্ত তার জন্য।  সে মে এ তা ক তাদের বাড়িতে আসতে বলে টাকা ট নেওয়ার  র জন্য।  কিন্তু তার সেই এক ঘোর সে তাকে ঠিক ৫ বছর পর 
......এর মধে সে তার নিজের ও তার আড্রেস সম্পর্কে কোনো আলোকপথ করবে না। 
সে প্রতি মুহুর্তে তার পাশে অনুপ্রেরণা ও মিষ্টি প্রেম এ তাকে ভোলাতে চাই তারই পছন্দের আভিজাত্যের ে খয়াল  .
 মে এ টা র অন্য বন্ধু গুলি র মধে এক বন্দু তার পর তার সঙ্গে বেশ খানিক তা গল্প করে। 
তার ভাই এর চোখের কথা বলে। 
সাদা সিধে কিরণ আত্মব্লিস্ণে অভস্ত সে পরে ব্যাপারে অবিশ্ব। স এর কারণ হতে চাই না। 
সে তার সমস্ত অবচেতনা তার মা এর কাছে বলে তবু ও তার মনে বেশ অপূর্ণ খেকে যায়।

International Mother Language Day (IMLD) (Bengali: আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস Antôrjatik Matribhasha Dibôs) is a worldwide annual observance held on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism. International Mother Language Day has been being observed since 2000^[4] to promote peace and multilingualism. The date corresponds to the day in 1952 when students from the University of Dhaka, Jagannath University and Dhaka Medical College, demonstrating for the recognition of Bangla as one of the two national languages of East Pakistan, were shot dead by police near the Dhaka High Court in the capital of present-day Bangladesh.

"Mother language" is the calque of a term used in several Romance languages: lengua materna (Spanish), lingua madre (Italian) and langue maternelle (French). A more fluent English translation would be "mother tongue", although "native language" is the most comprehensible term in English. In linguistics, "mother language" refers to an ancestral (or proto-language) of a language family.

International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 1999 (30C/62). On 16 May 2009 the United Nations General Assembly, in its resolution A/RES/61/266, called on its member states "to promote the preservation and protection of all languages used by people of the world".^[5]In the resolution, the General Assembly proclaimed 2008 as the International Year of Languages to promote unity in diversity and international understanding through multilingualism and multiculturalism. The resolution was suggested by Rafiqul Islam,a Bengali living in Vancouver, Canada. He wrote a letter to Mr. Kofi Anan on 9 January 1998 asking him to take a step for saving all the languages of the world from the possibility of extinction and to declare an International Mother Language Day. Rafiq proposed the date as 21 February on the pretext of 1952 killing in Dhaka on the occasion of Language Movement.

আমাদের ভগবান আল্লা গড এর চাঁদ সম্পর্কিত ভাবনায়

যার দ্বারা সহজ লব্ধ আভিজ্ঞতা জ্ঞানপ্রাপ্ত '
কর্ম ও সন্যাস রূপে আমাদের পাওয়া ও না পাওয়ার মাঝে 
যুগে যুগে এখনও আমাদের কাজের মাঝে। 
কর্ম গতির সফল্য সর্বদা নতুন সম্ভাবনাময়তার শক্তির নিত্যতা 
অভিযোজন করে মাত্র 
নতুন সময় নতুন সুযোগ এবং তার কাজে আমাদের সমস্ত বিশ্বাস আত্ম সমর্পণ 
নিস্কাম ব্যবহার আনন্দ ও সৃষ্টির আস্বাদন কাম্য করি ভগবানের 
 কামনায়। 


দিন ও রাতের একটি নতুন সুস্থ সমাজ গড়ার অঙ্গীকার করি। যেখানে 
এই মিথ্যা  স্তুল সব কিছু বিনিময়তI একদিন উতসর্ঘ করবে তারই ইচ্হা আমাদের  মাঝে 
সে সব এক নতুন অর্থবহ মানে ও বৈচিত্র বহন  করবে। 

যেখানে থাকবে না মাত্রা অতিরিক্ত মেকি বিনোদন ও দুসপ্নময় জীবন যাপন। 
তাই নতুন সপ্ন ও সুস্ত প্রজন্মের  জন্য নতুন রাতের আহবান করি। 
দিনের মাঝের কর্মের বিরতি আবার নতুন সূর্যের সমঝতা এবং নতুন বিশ্বাসের প্রস্তুতি !
